It is located on the outermost western part of the Šibenik channel. A 200 m long stone and concrete landing quay was built on the peninsula.
A solar-powered beacon (Green flash 5s, 7m, 3M, green) is located in the middle of the quay. A concrete quay with berths for boats, 300 m in length, was built in the old harbour.
Larger fishing boats mostly berth at the quay.
Landing quay, 165 m in length – has berths for yachts, powerboats, excursion and fishing boats and small crafts.
St. Nicholas’ wharf (100 m long and 70 m wide) – has docking for ferries and other passenger and freight boats as well as berths for fishing boats and small crafts..
Priority for mooring is given to ferries and passenger boats.
LANDMARKS: chapel with belfry on the top of a hill; light on the rock Bačvica - tower with column and gallery on base in the sea, coloured black with horizontal red band and topmark - two black spheres one above the other (isolated danger); light on the marina breakwater head - green tower with column and gallery; light on the quay head - green tower with column and gallery.
WEATHER: exposed to the Scirocco which may blow hard and raise a considerable sea, rendering stay on berth impossible. The Bora may blow strongly, but does not raise a considerable sea.
CURRENTS: tidal currents are predominant, at rates of up to 0.4 kn. Gale Scirocco can increase the current rate to 1.0 kn.
CABLES AND PIPELINES: submarine cable laid from the mainland coast E of Tribunj harbour to the islet of Logorun, and from this islet to the island of Kaprije.l.
APPROACH: when approaching from W or NW, the safest track leads through Zlarinski Kanal or Šibenski Kanal, In the passage between the islets of Lukovnik and Logorun, which is only 20 m wide, depths are about 3 m, but the safe track leads in mid-passage because of shoals around the points.
BERTH: to a quay with depths of up to 1.5 m, in the marina, or in a small fishing harbour S of the marina.
SUPPLIES AND FACILITIES: water in the marina; post office, surgery, restaurants, and shops.
