The port is located on the right bank of the river Krka, in the Rokovača bay, about 8 miles upstream from the port of Šibenik. It is protected from all stronger winds, and provides suitable anchorage for vessels during the entire year. The port has 80 m of stone and concrete quayside. A solar-powered beacon (Green flash 0,5s 7m, 3M, green) is located on the southeast part of the quay.
The quay (103.3 m) – has docking for passenger boats, as well as berths for powerboats, yachts, and excursion boats and small crafts.
LANDMARKS: high belfry in the village; pontoons of the marina on SW point, and light on SE corner of the quay - green tower with column and gallery.
WEATHER: exposed to the Bora and Scirocco which do not raise a considerable sea.
CURRENTS: river-current is predominant, attaining rates of 0.5 kn during poor inflow of the Krka river, up to 3.0 kn during a strong inflow.
SEA LEVEL: mean tidal amplitudes range from 0.1 to 0.3 m. Strong inflow of the Krka river and persistent gale winds may cause a rise in the sea level of about 1.0 m (cyclonic Scirocco) or a fall of about 0.3 m (anticyclonic Bora).
REGULATIONS: maximum speed limit is 3 kn. Anchoring is prohibited in the area between Rt Karolića and the cove Dunkovac.
APPROACH: When approaching the harbour, it is necessary to round Rt Oštrica with a light-green square tower. Care is necessary to avoid a shoal (3.3m) near Rt Lukovo light - red tower on base, connected with the N river bank by an underwater sill (4.5m); the safe track leads closer to the S bank.
BERTH: In the marina there are 200 berths in the sea, Vessels are secured stern-to pontoons. Use of anchor is prohibited except in emergency. Berth is directed by the marina on entering or by prior notification on phone of VHF channel 17, depending on the size of the vessel and period of stay.
SUPPLIES AND FACILITIES: water and electricity from pontoons; sports and nautical equipment, toilets and showers, exchange office, car park, restaurants, and shop in the marina; post office in the village. The marina is open all year round.

CAUTION: the area between the inflow and outflow of the river from the lake is clear of dangers, except a shoal off the N shore near Rt Smokvica, marked by an iron spar beacon coloured black with a horizontal red band and and topmark - two black spheres one above the other (isolated danger) .
Between Prokljansko Jezero and a shoal (3.3 m) off the N shore, the Krka narrows down to 100 m, with depths of 8-13, and further to Skradin harbour fhe fairway narrows down to 80 m, with depths of 7-8 m.
