The port is located on the northwest part of the Prokljansko jezero. It has a 60 m long stone and concrete landing wharf with wave breaker. A solar-powered beacon (Red flash 3s, 3m, 3M, red). is located at the head of the wharf. Adjoining the wharf is 140 m of quayside with berths for boats.
LANDMARKS: St. Michael's chapel SE of the harbour, and light on the breakwater head - red tower.
WEATHER: exposed to the Bora and Scirocco which raise a considerable sea.
CURRENTS: the S-going current is predominant, attaining rates of up to 2.0 kn during a strong inflow of the Krka river.
ANCHORAGE: in a Bora vessels are advised to anchor S of Rt Sv. Kata.
BERTH: to the breakwater head; not recommended in a strong Scirocco. During a Bora it is necessary to leave the cove.
SUPPLIES AND FACILITIES: water supply system; shop.
CAUTION: when approaching from S, care is necessary to avoid the above-water rock Dragačin SE of Rt. Sv. Mihovil, marked by a concrete square beacon coloured black with a horizontal yellow band and topmark - two black cones one above the other base to base (E cardinal). The above-water rock lies in the obscured sector of the light in Rasline harbour and in the red sector of the light on W point of the cove Margaretuša.
