The port is located on the south side of the Šibenik channel. It is open to winds blowing from the south, west and north-west. It is not suitable for berthing smaller boats.
It has a 30 m long concrete landing quay, where a smaller ferry, which transports passengers and goods to and from the island of Krapanj, docks every day.
A 200 m concrete quay with berths for boats was built adjoining the aforementioned quay. The local authorities have started an initiative to build new concrete quays with berths for boats, as well as a landing wharf on the opposite side of the existing one.
Concrete landing quay, 33 m long – berth for passenger boats. In exceptional cases, when the liner passenger boat is not berthed, other small boats can moor for a limited period of time.
WEATHER: Completely exposed to the Scirocco, but sheltered from the Bora.
CURRENTS: tidal currents are predominant, at rates of up to 0.8 kn. Gale winds can increase the current rate to 1.5 kn.
BERTH: to a quay suitable for smaller craft.
COMMUNICATIONS: Road connections; motor boats for the island of Krapanj.
